  1.  Information with the release of STARMAPS version 0.81 date 16-03-1992
  2.  ---------------------------------------------------------------------
  3.  For general information of STARMAPS read first file  READ_ME.80
  4.  
  5.  This version is mainly an update to correct some bugs in the program.
  6.  One of the problems with version 0.8 was that an error (no:2) could
  7.  occur when the program was used on a ST with TOS 1.2 or 1.4.
  8.  The program,however,was developed under TOS 1.0
  9.  
  10.  This problem was found by ACN, the public domain distributer.
  11.  ACN found a way to suppress the error by placing a screen accelerator 
  12.  in the autofolder(Turbo-st-1.8 or NVDI).These programs are not public
  13.  domain.ACN found another,public domain,screen accelerator QSTAUTO.
  14.  This program was delivered together with STARMAPS. 
  15.  This program QSTAUTO,however,caused  another error in STARMAPS.This
  16.  error did not crash STARMAPS but the function GRID circles was not working.

  18.  With this version 0.81 the basic error was found and corrected.The
  19.  program was tested under TOS 1.0 and TOS 1.4. It works OK WITHOUT
  20.  the screenaccelerator (QSTAUTO). 
  21.  It was also found that screenaccelerator Turbo-ST-1.8 has an impact
  22.  on the operation of STARMAPS.The star images of a certain magnitude
  23.  is displayed differently than intended by the author.The speed of
  24.  plotting the stars is,however,improved.
  25.  From the above it is NOT recommended to use any screenaccelerator.
